Floyd Landis verdict any day now

Wherein I doubt few people will be happy with the result, whichever way it goes

Checking in at Trust But Verify, a decision should soon be announced in the Floyd Landis case.
Today is Day 7 in the Landis decision watch which according to the rules makes the wait three days or less, it won't be long now.

Peloton Jim compares the waiting to another event.

So, Landis is guilty, and Pereiro gets the retroactive win. Which will go nicely with his retroactive permision to dope? Is anyone in cycling not cheating, and if so, why aren't they?

(Note: I am a fan of American football. I imagine somewhere between 75-90% of NFL players are using some form of banned chemical enhancement. Hell, even one PUNTER has been caught doing 'roids! So I'm not getting all high-and-mighty here, I'm just curious.)

Regarding the Landis case, the testimony showed that the French lab was so incompetent that it is impossible to know if he truly is guilty. Also, directors for three other WADA labs said that the results the French lab found were not abnormal and never would have pursued a case against Floyd.

From the first reports none of this made any sense. If Landis hasn't proven his innocence he's shown the system is so broken that athletes cannot get a fair trial.

Bill, after posting my comment I linked over to TBV and read more on the case. It does seem mystifying how the "jury" came to this particular decision.
