I have no idea if this is easy or hard
You'll recognize the song, the band I'm not so sure about. Even if you don't know the band's name, I bet you've heard their most famous song...though maybe 15 years after it was first popular. So, one point for naming the other song, two point for knowing the band, and three points for piece of vinyl you own by them.

If the voice were higher, I'd guess Violent Femmes. Didn't "Blister in the Sun" reappear somewhere recently -- an ad or a movie?
"Blister in the Sun" was in a Wendy's commercial. For that, and a few other things, Brian Ritchie is sueing Gordon Gano.
But that's neither the song nor band.
The answer is Trio.
