Wherein block of text for weekly thing I usually don't explain

cherry blossom. OJ Simpson. New Orleans Saints logo. One of those skanky kid shows Disney plays in the evening. blah. I know this from the John Wesley Harding song Talkin' Return Of The Great Folk Scare Blues: Woody Guthrie's guitar killed fascists and crime But in Hastings, East Sussex, South of England My guitar killed timeā€¦. All led their respective leagues in rebounding for two or more seasons.

#1 Chrysanthemum, cherry blossoms are representative of the impermanence of life. They're connected to Samurai, whose lives are fleeting, like the short lived blooms of the cherry tree.

#2 I think it's some sort of messed up leopard, or possibly the chupacabra.

#3 A really slutty courtesan.

#4 You're probably right about the skanky kids show, either that or Flava of Love (which could also be described as skanky)

#5 One of those big dumb European countries.

#6 You'd think Woodie would be a little more 'peace, love, and understanding-ish'.

#7 I'm going with a Red Sonja connection. Billy Joel secretly composed the music, Les Moonves co-produced (secretly), Demi Moore read for the lead, but didn't get the part, Brigitte Nielsen's most masterful performance was as Red Sonja, Kelly Ripa likes to play 'Red Sonja' with her husband (if you know what I mean), Dennis Rodman likes to play 'Red Sonja' with Kelly Ripa's husband (if you know what I mean), Salman Rushdie secretly wrote Red Sonja (that's the real reason behind the Ayatollah's fatwa, not Satanic Verses), and Seal - - - weren't there trained killer seals in Red Sonja?
