1. The square root of the number holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall. Or 36. Crap, I was thinking of Saltine, not Ritz. Not that it mattered, I was still massively wrong. Discuss what holes mean in ""A Day in the Life."
2. I guess I consider these different disciplines of the same sport and not different sports.
3. Abuse the postal service by sending snail-mail spam.
4. 1978 -- I bet I know this song and the answer will make me kick myself. Don't recognize either of the bandmates. Yes, I know the song. No, I never would have guessed it. I've never thought of it as a New York song.

My absolute favorite thing about your Ken Jennings' Quiz Posts is that I have no idea what the questions are, so I have no idea what you're going on about.

The first few I included the questions but stopped when I saw I was getting google hits from others looking for the answers. No need to make it easy for anyone else. I figure if you know the questions, feel free to play along. If you don't know the questions, feel free to play along.

Much like reader_iam calling me literal-minded and a smartass, this also is not the first time I've heard this.
1. I'm picturing a cross two dots across, which would add up to 12 holes, but really, the answer should be zero, cause those are more dimples than holes.
2. Karch Kilray (heh, heh, he said Karch). And I may or may not have been at a party that he was also at sometime in the early 90s back when I hung out with a woman who was on a local volleyball team. (and I'm pretty sure his name is wrong above, but I just don't care)
3. Also, I believe, the privilege to lick Barney Frank would be an acceptable answer (and that applies to Barney himself, I've heard he's surprisingly flexible, given his bulk)
4. Don't know, don't care, but if I did care, I might go with that Baker St. song, but I'm not sure why (just cause I remember hearing it constantly on AM radio back then, and I vaguely remember it having nothing to do with Sherlock Holmes, and just checked, wrong, Baker St is Baker St in LDN, but it still has nothing to do with Holmes, but after googling for the answer, I'm pretty sure this also has something to do with Barney Frank)
5. I associate clover with the Irish, not Scotland, I'd go with Heather, and I'd probably be wrong. (d'oh!, wrong indeed, should have known it would have been something bristly, defensive and best to avoid physical contact with)
6. He couldn't make money till hippies had enough money to buy his posters. If he had made real money earlier in his life, he probably wouldn't have been half the photographer he ended up being.
7. David Cross seems like a real outlier in that group, I don't think Frank would touch him with his 10 inch pole, so I think, for once, this has nothing to do with Frankie and his profligate ways. So I'm going to have to go with slept with Barney Frank this week, and assume that Barney got his Hitchcock blondes mixed up and thought that Janet Leigh was Kim Novak, and that he wanted to see for himself if those transgender rumors about Novak were true.

It's been alleged (never confirmed) that she has Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome (AIS), which makes her technically transgendered, but in most every way possible female (but infertile, and having internal testes instead of ovaries).
Here's the pertinent bit from the wiki:
People with CAIS are generally girls or women with internal testes, 46,XY karyotypes, and normal female bodies by external appearance with some exceptions. The vagina is not as deep, and there are no ovaries or uterus— hence no menses or fertility. Gender identity is almost always female
But to bring this back to Janet Leigh, same rumors surround her daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis.
(both Kim and Jamie have never given birth, Kim never had kids, and Jamie's are adopted, but that proves nothing, just doesn't immediately disprove these crazy theories about them)
I'm not confirming the truth of these rumors, cause I have no idea, just that these rumors persist.
Also, given that women with complete AIS are generally more feminine, rather than less, and have vaginas and no twig and berries, obviously, they should hold no special appeal to Rep. Frank.
(Johnny Depp, on the other hand, I'm guessing is just his type, but who am I kidding, Depp is just about everyone on the planet's type, straight or gay, male or female, doesn't matter, Depp is just plain dreamy)
